Meet Our Staff

|
Don Seiler, LUT Candidate, Spiritual Leader
At a Special Congregational Meeting held, Sunday, June 6, 2010, it was
unanimously decided to bring Don Seiler on board at Unity Church of San Marcos
as Interim Spiritual Leader. On Wednesday, June 30, 2010, he met with the Board
of Trustees to work out the details of his part-time experience here. We are
excited to have Don's leadership and spiritual expertise. Read on for the letter
and invitation he has issued to all. Take advantage of his invitation to hold
Prayer Vigil AND be sure to sign up for a private 30 minutes session with him to
discuss the future direction of our Church.
“I’m happy to join you in your spiritual
journey!
When we begin a new experience, there are always
mixed emotions. In our case, there’s a lot we know. But as we look forward,
there is also plenty we don’t know. My expectations usually predict the
experience I have. A day beginning with anxiety and dread usually is
unpleasant. Since I can choose my thoughts, I choose to expect good. One of our
Unity Principles is that our essence is of God; therefore, we are inherently
good. The Christ within is my constant companion and I am strengthened for every
experience. I expect only good in my life and the life of Unity Church of San
Marcos.
Let’s take this idea into our prayers as we move
forward on our journey together." |
